From virtual reality headsets to 3D printers the Digital Doorstep aims to deliver skills and career pathways in additive manufacturing and Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR) through the use of portable, entry-level equipment in local schools, Colleges and businesses.
Cheshire College is equipped with specialist equipment, which will mirror workplace practises and processes.
Over the coming weeks, Level 2 and 3 Media and Games applicants, due to start their course at Cheshire College in September 2021 will be invited to a virtual workshop, providing them with the opportunity to meet the team, explore the brand new equipment, take part in interactive activities and have all of their questions answered.
