Become a host

Over the years, Cheshire College has welcomed over 2000 students and teachers to date to our modern Campuses.

We host students from Thailand, China, Spain, Italy, Germany, Greece and other countries from around the world. We are always looking for families who are interested in hosting 1-3 students and provide them with a friendly and relaxed environment hat helps them develop their English language skills and also gives them a real insight into British culture and family life.

How would it benefit me?

Hosting an International Student during their short stay can be incredibly rewarding and enjoyable as well as educational. Not only will you gain extra money every month, but it gives you the unique opportunity to broaden your life experience and perhaps even make lifelong friendships.

Do you receive an income as a host?

As a host, you would receive an income of around £270 for 2 students for 2 weeks. The income is guaranteed all year round and there is flexibility if you want your accommodation to be available long term or short term.

Please note: You are not charged any tax on income from hosting students. So you can earn £7500 per year tax free and the amount per student that we pay you will be all yours.)
