How to apply

The Course

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology Studies is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in applying and maintaining nail enhancements using either liquid and powder or UV gel nail systems.

You will also learn practical skills in the application of airbrush designs for nails, using electrical files, and the application and design of nail art. You will learn underpinning knowledge relating to these technical skills. In addition you will know how to promote both products and services to salon clients and you will gain a sound knowledge of health and safety practice in a salon environment. You will also gain the necessary client care and communication skills as well as an understanding of how to work with colleagues in a nail or beauty salon.

Level 2 certificate in Nail Technology is desirable for adults but not compulsory. 16-18 Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (Nail pathway desirable)
You could progress into straight into employment or own your own business.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
