This qualification is designed for students who want to increase their knowledge and understanding of autism. The objectives are to help you understand how to adopt a positive approach to supporting people with autism, the current legislative frameworks, the therapeutic interventions available, and the support workers role in relation to safeguarding vulnerable people.

This is a remote learning course which will be assessed via a portfolio of evidence.

There are no entry requirements for this course; however, a good level of English and a reasonable level of IT skills are required. There will be an initial assessment as part of the application process.
This is a knowledge-only qualification; therefore, no real work environment placement is required.
