How to apply

The Course

T Levels are new two-year, Level 3 study programmes combining classroom theory, practical learning and a minimum 315-350 hours of industry placement with an employer to make sure you have real experience of the workplace. At the end of the this technical qualification, you are expected to demonstrate threshold competence, which means that you have gained the core knowledge and skills related to design and development for engineering and manufacturing and are well placed to develop full occupational competence with additional development and support once in employment in the engineering sector.

Typically you will need 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C (or above), including grade 4/C (or above) for maths and English.
You will gain a range of skills and substantial experience of working for employers which will give you progression options to skilled employment. You could also progress to higher level study on courses such as HNC/D at the College and foundation degree or degree programmes at university. Additionally, you could progress to an apprenticehsip.
