How to apply

The Course

This short course is designed for adults who are interested in exploring the world of wines, spirits and cocktails. Over five weeks, students will gain a deeper understanding of tasting techniques, flavour profiles and how to appreciate a wide variety of drinks from around the world.

The course introduces key wine-producing regions such as France, Spain and Italy, alongside an exploration of New World and sparkling wines. Each session includes guided tastings and discussions on grape varieties, production methods and pairing suggestions. In addition to wines, students will learn about popular spirits and how to craft classic cocktails using essential tools and techniques.

Whether for personal enjoyment or as an introduction to further study, this course offers an engaging and informative experience in a relaxed setting.

There are no formal qualifications required. An interest in wines, spirits or cocktails is recommended. This course is for students aged 19 and over.
You can progress onto other hospitality or specialist short courses that further develop your knowledge and skills in drinks, food and service.

Adults can enrol for FREE

You may see a fee attached to the course you’re interested in, but if you’re aged 19+ you’ll more than likely be eligible to enrol onto an adult course for FREE.
